4 ways to explore the Universe

Live
astronomy
show

See From Earth to the Stars, a live astronomy show presented by the Planetarium's team of science educators.

Under a 360° dome, explore the starry sky through observations of visible celestial objects, the latest astronomy news and stories humans have imagined to make sense of the Universe. Follow the life cycle of stars and discover how the elements that make up our planet and environment were forged in the heart of the cosmos. This immersive experience invites you to see our place in the Universe—and our connection to the stars—in a new light.

Audience: Ages 7 and up
Duration: 42 minutes

360° immersive films

Discover our program of 360° immersive films in the Chaos Theatre.

Blending science, storytelling and wonder, these immersive productions take you on fascinating adventures through time and space and offer new perspectives on our place in the Universe. From captivating stories and philosophical reflections to spectacular visual and sound experiences, our film program offers something for all ages.

360° immersive films are included with your Planétarium ticket. No seat reservation is required. We recommend arriving at the Chaos Theatre at least 20 minutes before the film starts to maximize your chances of getting a seat. First come, first served, subject to theatre capacity.

Featured exhibition: Contact77

In 1977, humanity sent a message into the Universe aboard the Voyager 1 and 2 space probes, intended for possible extraterrestrial life. Nearly 50 years later, the Contact77 exhibition celebrates one of the greatest scientific adventures of our time.

This featured exhibition highlights the story of the famous Golden Record, the discoveries that transformed our understanding of the Solar System and the extraordinary fate of the Voyager probes, which continue their journey into the unknown.

Guided science activities

Throughout the day, connect with our team of science educators in different areas of the Planétarium. Take part in interactive activities exploring topics such as the mysteries of the Solar System, constellations, meteorites and other aspects of astronomy.

When conditions allow, join our team to observe the sky through a telescope and see the Sun, Moon, planets and other celestial objects in real time. These free stargazing activities take place outside the Planétarium and are open to everyone, even without an admission ticket.
